Closer Than You Think

Travel to Atlantic Canada is easy with regular non-stop service from London Heathrow, Gatwick, Glasgow and Dublin airports.  An Atlantic Canada holiday is just a five or six-hour flight from the United Kingdom – closer than any other part of North America.

Non-stop flights are available to both Halifax, Nova Scotia and St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.  Flight connections through Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, New York or Boston give you even more options.

Air carriers to Atlantic Canada are Air Canada, WestJet, Icelandair and ASL Airlines France.

Upon arrival, travelling around the region is easy with regional flights to key destinations in each province.  Many visitors hire a car and explore on their own.  Quiet roads and scenic coastal drives pave the way for a pleasant journey to quaint villages, attractions and outdoor activities.  Car ferries also provide leisurely transfers among the provinces.

Via Rail also provides rail service to the region, connecting Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to other parts of Eastern Canada (Quebec, Ontario) and points further west.
